We'd like to avoid Shaman-Monk unless there really is a huge lack of shamen.
We thought about:
Druid/War (Non kite duo, amazing if there is a lack of tank)
Druid/Monk (Non kite duo, very effective but only if the server isnt crowded with monks already)
Druid/Cleric (Must kite duo but xp rez is something important in the Kunark Era. I love to play old school cleric)
Cleric/War (but we'll be crippled when noone is there to help us out with travel/invis etc...)
Druid/Enchanter (Strong kite duo, depends a lot on the enchanter numbers)
Wizard/Bard or Wizard/Enchanter (both decent kite duos but we'll fight on each other to know who will HAVE to play the Wizard...)

I can only speak to the server overall really, I don't know specifically about what classes the euro population players specifically. But that said, and going off this quote:
There are lots of shaman, so you don't have to do sham+monk if you don't want to. Druid+melee works but is far from "ideal" because without slow you will want excellent healing, which you won't have with a druid, plus you lack mana regen to sustain a druid's mediocre-at-best heals. It will WORK, but it won't be great. Druid+cleric would be painfully short on DPS unless you only work in places where the druid can charm an animal for DPS. Cleric+war is a solid foundation for a group and lack of invis isn't that big of a deal really cause you can get pretty cheap items to provide invis for you (larrikan's mask) when you really NEED it to travel around; when you don't NEED invis you can get around with cleric lulling things. Pairings involving a wizard are ok too, but no duo with a wizard really excels at higher levels or indoors. Druid+ench is the strongest duo of the things you listed, and is a very potent duo at any point from 1-60 whether XPing or trying to kill nameds for loot or PLing friends or basically anything you can imagine wanting to do. There are lots of enchanters on the server though, if that affects your decision (lots of druids too, really, but it doesn't seem like it sometimes since not as many of them try to group as classes like warrior, rogue, monk, cleric, etc.).
