I assume you are both fairly well geared from the druids. Your best bet with the shaman/SK combo is really going to be fear kiting so that the shaman can worry about DPS instead of slowing/healing. You can ride the WW giant fort out until 29, and if it's crowded try to get some people to join you for Dalnir. After that you could move to the FM giant fort. Once you get level 34 (and scourge) I would suggest moving to the Lost Valley in Dreadlands. The outpost is a nice, secluded spot with a lot of skeletons so that you can put the SK's 10 mana undead fear to use. You can get to 40 there and move on to CoM.
ETA: A bonus with the Lost Valley is that when it's time to med up you can run over to the druid rings and med there - you'll have a good chance of catching people coming through for clarity and other buffs.
