I define variance as randomization of a mobs spawn time within a predetermined range based on the last time it was killed. Would anyone disagree with that?
So while the english definition of variance may
slightly apply here, it is clearly not what is being proposed with a once a month simulated repop. In that scenario we know the spawn times of all mobs, as soon as the server comes back up. So basically, there is no reason to poopsock because you'll get a clear warning when things are going to spawn (because the server "goes down").
The obvious advantage to a guild like RD in this scenario is all raid mobs appear simultaneously, and Nihilum in theory could not get to them all fast enough.
