Yeah I tried to buy the mats for a Tier`Dal bracer that I am missing and he told me the same thing, it was 4k or he wouldn't make it. Now that I know this other info I am definitely staying away from him. This guy is just a total D-bag it seems.

So step up to the Teir`Dal forge and combine your mats if you're not willing to pay his 4k price. He put in the effort to raise his skill you didn't. On a side note was there a disclaimer about failed combines? Quit complaining because you don't like the price you were quoted, either find another smith or raise your own blacksmith skill.
