Almost nothing changes immediately upon Velious release. Some new spells, perhaps. Most of the heavily anticipated changes (removal of hybrid experience penalty, improving of skill caps, combat tables, etc) will come months later.

Okay, thanks Danth! I'll continue on my journey with the new SK for now. I found it so difficult picking a race for the SK class, I settled on Troll for the Plate and Regen factor. Have I erred in not choosing the master race (iksar) in preparation for velious?
