And Detoxx: Killing dragons feels great! Playing a -PVE game- against NPCs feels great! If I wanted PVP competition, I'd play red, or better yet, I'd play DotA, WoW, Starcraft, CoD, or any other game where I can actually kill my opponent, instead of running next to him mashing ranged attack thinking that somehow made me better than the idiot I'm running next to. Two kids running down the street to be the first at the ice cream man is not competition. I recommend you try boxing, football, soccer, or some other sport. Remember Detoxx, the ice cream man will be back next week (+/-96 hours under the old system).

Sounds like you never played classic EQ. This is a PvE game, sure, but there are multiple guilds that want the loots. As I recall, majority of servers weren't carebear bullshit, they competed by RACING to the mob and KILLING it before the other guild. They did NOT wait until a Tuesday at 6pm and expect the mobs to be there for them, like some guilds do now.
