Maybe... But for some reason I can't help but think he is important to Lightbringer making an appearance. im with you on Gendry being important. i dunno if it has to do with Lightbringer, or with the Baratheon line, or possibly even with Arya (finally uniting the Stark and Baratheon lines after all these years). but surely important.
