You need a receiver, these speakers don't have an amplifier built in like normal PC speakers. You'll probably need to get a receiver with RCA line in ports (twin banana plugs) and get a cable that plugs into the phono port on your computer and splits the signal (right/left) to two RCA plugs. The receiver amplifies the input and drives the speakers... I have this setup on my home theatre computer, works fine... the receiver will have two identical ports on the back (probably 5, front, back, subwoofer) to plug the wires into...

They tend to be $200-$300 new but you can probably get a used one from Kijiji or Craigslist for a pittance...
