You need a receiver, these speakers don't have an amplifier built in like normal PC speakers. You'll probably need to get a receiver with RCA line in ports (twin banana plugs) and get a cable that plugs into the phono port on your computer and splits the signal (right/left) to two RCA plugs. The receiver amplifies the input and drives the speakers... They tend to be $200-$300 new but you can probably get a used one from Kijiji or Craigslist for a pittance...
