It is all out of frustration I'm sure. A lot of these players have devoted their lives to this game and the environment they want will never happen on this server. Azrael wants a competitive guild that enjoys PvP as much as them but this server can't field that type of numbers or community. It blows, I get it.
You have one group that just wants to kick other guilds asses in PvP and another that just wants to progress in PvE. The PvP crew gets discouraged and quit when they get stomped at their own game and the PvE crew gets bored/discouraged when they can't slay dragons every time they log in. These two guilds don't do well on the same server as the only two options.

A lot of Nihilum vets stopped logging in when the resistance stopped logging in. I literally went off the deep end from boredom just killing PvE targets all the time. Nihilum isn't as PvE oriented as you might think. A lot of the old members just want to PvP but Azrael always breaks up and stops contesting. The difference this time is the fact that so many vets took breaks and haven't come back like the Azrael members have. I am actually happy that Azrael is getting mobs now. I just hope their numbers stay up because when Velious release rolls out it should be a lot more fun.
