So... that ending. That was most likely the Land of Always Winter, no? And the Night's King? Have the white walkers just been chilling there (HAHAHAHA) for thousands of years? Maybe the white walkers aren't really "evil" at all... maybe THEY built the Wall to keep the First Men OUT of the far north? I mean, it's a giant magical wall made of solid ice, and we know they have powerful magic abilities and a fondness for the cold. Seems like it would fit perfectly with GRRM's theme of nobody-is-truly-good-nor-truly-evil. Maybe they've just been defending their lands the whole time!

that wasnt the Night King, i think that was the "Great Other". the actual Night King was murdered by the nights watch.
and im sure they arent considered evil by other walkers, but they do not have good intentions for people
