Iksar necro is really stronk in PVE but in pvp they aren't very good on this server.
I'm pretty sure it's the same thing with mages.
Honestly, if I had the option of any level 60 character I would pick an Iksar monk. Seem to be the most powerful single character in the game at the moment for pvp.
Melee only get stronger in velious so if you are wanting to go for kills and glory I'd go that route. If you want to be hand held and pixel showered make a cleric your life will be a lot easier.

Mostly meant from a grouping perspective, I like earning my stuff period. It's why I havent asked for hand outs or tried to do a Blue to Red PP kind of thing.
