You're right numbers don't lie. Red was regularly 1/10 of blue a few months ago, so 1/3 of blue is quite the achievement.
There's always people in gfay/crushbone, field of bone and such. If you started a troll/ogre or an erudite I'd see your point about not seeing anyone for a while
