Monks could do it a lot easier. I think its possible on a warrior, 1-54 in the old world for sure. Could probably solo singles in Karnor to 60.
The obvious setback is how patient you are with sitting around waiting to heal up. I'd assume you'd want to play a troll or iksar for the improved regen? The 50s might take years with no healer!
