Why I left Nihilum
My back was covered with wolf furs I had sewn together and collected earlier that spring. We all knew variance was coming and had to prepare for the worst. My father before me would tell us of the green dragon who plagued their lands. There was a steel gaze in his eyes until he would break concentration and quickly change to telling stories of munchkin sacrifices and how they would weave baskets of yoohoo to appease the Gods. BANG! Hector the garden mexican had dropped some pots onto the floor. "Hector, are you alright?" I asked. Hector turned around with a blank stare on his face "Variance is coming and we are not prepared."
