I do not expect at all if I were a fully geared level 60 today that I would be Main Tank for a raiding guild. I totally realize there is a rotation and senority. If there have been 2-3 tanks that have been there far longer than me, I know they are going to get priority, even in a DKP system. I know I am going to have to prove myself, but eventually, and I promise this, I will be the go to guy at 3 am, on an off week for the guild when we have a target to take down and they need me on quickly. I will be there for the guild, I am not selfish, I am not a loot hog, in fact I like to see others get what they need before me. Then once we are all equally geared, that is when I will prove my worth to the guild. Not only through leadership and personality, but through my dedication to helping the guild progress.

Call me a nerd, call me a neckbeard, call me whatever you like. Tanking on Everquest is in my blood and I love the game just as much. Well, except for the not being able to turn helmet graphics off and Bards not getting a hand drum or guitar, other than that, I love it. I hope to meet you all in game soon. Have a great day everyone. ((:

@SenoraRaton I agree that amount of time spent on other characters will not offset much of an advantage, but that is not what I am trying to offset. I am putting that much effort into getting support classes and platinum built up so that I can truly ENJOY playing our mains once we get to them. We have always built up a support net on our accounts and then leveled our mains afterward. I don't know why, but thats just the way we like to do things. I would much rather level my warrior in top end gear than in rags. It is pretty much like working for a long time and getting a nice paycheck at the end. Anyway, just an opinion of course. ((:
