If I had been around during a Kunark expansion release Id have been shouting t the top of my fingers for them NOT to release it on Red99.
Although I did read a post about how "Kunark will kill Red99". At that time 120 peak players. Today we have just over 200 peak players so I would say that OP was dead wrong.
