I never respond good to feely good stuff. I don't know why.
I think I respond better to just bluntness. Like a scene of the alleyway with some soiled newspaper blowing by and a half closed garbage can and some bumb sitting on the stairwell and smal raindrops falling from the overhanging roof. Then, wait for it, the bumby guy gets up, lifts his hands to the sky and recites some shakespeare. Then, reaching into his coat, he brings out The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. And through some miracle he doesn't die a horrible death later in life and nor does he have to be witness to ti.
I guess philsophy trying to make sense of madness in this world reaches me better. And ya I know giving always makes us happier than recieving. I also know having a friend can be worth a million dollars, even if all you get is $1.
