Ebon war spear. I did it at level 25, just have to kite him(Soarin Brightfeather) around with your DoTs. This is a good range item but if you need a main hand weapon it can be used until something else better is found.
What I'd recommend when you gain a bit more levels, or can gather a few friends, is to camp a ruined battleworn morning star(1hb, 7/30 +6 wis). Can get off of a level 36 decaying healer in Kithicor at night, but he's near WC zoneline by cabin so no worries of having to travel around. Just keep killing him till he drops it, he's a guaranteed spawn just have to get lucky with drop. Just because our Epic is spear doesn't mean you shouldn't keep up 2hb and 1hb as well. That weapon is no drop, it's free and will last you to 50. No need for a paw either, can just get this and a charred guardian shield. Paw and testament of vanear are overrated for shamans imho.
