Currently silence AEs like Mesmerizing Breath (and Cloud of Silence in Velious) still allow weapons to proc. Others are claiming that these silence effects would prevent weapons from proccing on EQMac and presumably classic in general.

I didn't play a melee in classic and I didn't play EQMac but this seems like an important thing to get right, especially since silence AEs become more prevalent in Velious (currently just Xygoz has one). Thoughts from others?
