Did you not read a single word of American history? When slavery was abolished, it wasn't just fucking fantastic as if everything was great for blacks thereafter. There was the whole thing of equal rights - you know, blacks being systematically oppressed by hate groups, lynchings, segregation, discrimination, etc.
Here in reality - in the world in which we actually live - most African-Americans with grey hair can probably remember a time when they weren't allowed to use a certain bathroom. And holy shit - would you even believe it if I told you racial oppression and discrimination still exist? How many black presidents have we had?
Oh, never mind, go back to telling us how great of a person you are for not being offended by holocaust jokes, before you go back to your hugely privileged white, male, entitled life on perpetual easy mode.

You want to hang on to what happened 150 years ago that no one alive could control? Well then, I do sincerely apologize that even today blacks refuse to admit they have better opportunities than any other race in America.
