As scrub said, the problem (back in 99) was the complaints about necro's fd afking with pets holding camps. They made it so pets suicided, but it didn't impact other pets (such as sk pets, or shm pets, since they were so weak). There was a ton of necro hate classically in these eras until all these nerfs hit.
