If they gave out 10 times as much as was intended, and it won't happen again, great! If they gave out only slightly more than was intended, it would still be too much. Tons of free high end stuff hurt the "integrity" of the game - that is what most people don't understand. Finding upgrades to your equipment IS part of the fun. Item inflation is really dangerous, just like money - or plat - inflation. Verant was very well aware of that in 1999 / 2000.
Anyway, a discussion seems to be unwanted since they've been closing all threads about the issue. Guess it won't be different with this sarcastic one.
