Method 1: slightly easier/faster.
1) Get a port from GFay to Dreadlands.
2) Depending on the level of your bard, you may need a SoW and an invis as well. You'll be running through areas with hostile monsters in their 40s, some of them spellcasters. Levitation doesn't hurt either.
3) Go east through Dreadlands to Firiona Vie, then north to Swamp of No Hope. SoNH has a zone line to Cabilis so you can move your SK to SoNH no problem.
Method 2: Don't need a port.
1) Go to the docks at Butcherblock.
2) Catch a boat to Firiona Vie (it will be at the leftmost pier) via Timorous Deep.
3) Go north to SoNH and meet your SK there. (Again, moving through Firiona Via, you may need SoW+invis).

You can see on this map that a reasonable alternative route from DL would be to go DL -> FM -> LOIO and meet your SK in LOIO, which also borders Cabilis.
