lighting has always been shit on this client
I would need to have advanced lighting to show light sources, and sometimes it would just break, sometimes it works without it, etc
hell even spam equip/unequip light items would eventually break them (they'd either stop giving light or be stuck on light)

I checked that, and halfling racial, tcrown, and druid epic all don't change vision/light at all for me.

try a greater lightstone or a torch or something, maybe epic is bugged or something
