is perhaps the greatest contribution to the english language of the modern era. Consider, if you will, this brief list of asshat's most obvious virtues:

3. It applies with great accuracy and amazing justice to any human target regardless of gender, or absence thereof, or profusion thereof, or confusion thereof.
