Forgive me if this seems a little idealistic, but, many of the people in rags are just trying to gear up to PVP more competitively. Why would it be fun to be facerolled by someone with gear that makes them near invincible to a full group in rags?
Seriously. I have shit gear, and I've pvp'ed and couldn't even touch the twink PK'er. That's not pvp. That's a high school wrestler body-slamming a 3rd grader. Not cool, not fun.

That's my only issue with the twinks - the asymmetry of their power is ridiculous. So many times leveling up recently (i started like a week ago), my group, some times a full group, would be attacked by some guy that all of us couldn't get below 96% while they took us out with blazing speed. There were plenty of noobs in my groups, only a few moderate twinks (crafted/bronze) when they were present.
I played on SZ, and I can see the value of PvP to solve problems between players and provide entertainment, but that was discouraging. I've been adding groupmates to my friends list on a regular basis, usually other guys in total scrub gear, and maybe 2 of 10 people I've friended are still logging on regularly. I'd really like to actually have my group fight another group for a camp. That doesn't happen b/c groups are spaced so far apart due to low pop and that these events always involve the aggressor bringing in a ringer (or being the ringer in the first place) to guarantee victory for the lulz, not access to the mobs.
I have yet to have a single group vs. group fight that didn't involve someone dramatically more powerful than my entire group being on the other side. All it has taught me is that there aren't good fights for new players.
