I found binds in gfay easy. Bind in Freeport rare. Once I joined Flowers I wouldn't go near people unless I was bound first lol.
But I would just wait to make a move until a guild mate could help me out.
If Memory is online he will port you bind you and give you a star ruby. He rocks, but not sure how red he is. Maybe he has ganked hundreds and now he's born again and doing penance lol.
