did I say we'd do it with 30? you don't need a guild your size to clear everything in velious, period.
also can't wait to see how many of your guild disappears when velious releases on blue and not on red. going to be glorious.

Here let me spell this out for you slowly so that you can understand this the third time you've seen me post it:
- To clear high end velious mobs you will need at least 50ish toons (some mobs will need less later on in the expansion after players have more gear)
- In order to fill these number requirements, guilds must recruit
- If you only recruit towards the numbers you NEED to kill mobs, then you're already losing
- You have to recruit beyond your number requirement for raids because people may leave, get bored, or have mobs fall into their work schedules
Lets use a stepping stone mob like Derakor the Vindicator as an example, as its a hard hitting, unslowable mob with roughly 10x the hp of kunark dragons
- For this fight you ideally want to have 3 warriors on hand (rotate evasive/defensive), while you can tank without evasive/defensive it's not ideal and eating a bad round could ruin your day.
- One needs to be tanking at all times with disc (backup tanks ready to pickup aggro, having started taunting throughout the fight) with another tank class soaking rampage (sk/pal are gr8), along with a healer dedicated to your rampage tank
- Clerics must have a solid CH rotation set up, ideally with pause/tell macros and necros dedicated for dumping mana into them.
Now here's the catch to all of this
What happens when all of a sudden you only have 1 warrior and 1 paladin online and vindi is up?
What happens when you only have 1 dedicated cleric and someone with an alt cleric online?
Nobody is responding to the batphone because they're at work/with family
You can't even think about downing the mob even though its spawning and now someone else gets uncontested pixels. Good job, you're running an amazing guild.
