Why not try monk? There are some places you can farm plats like gargs, paineel och rivervale guards and seafuries later on. You ownt be uber rich but you are wanted in groups and at higher lvls you'll get a chance of $$-drops for selling.
But if soloing and farming is your highest prio go nec or chanter and twink an melee alt when you get to 60
