I have done some bird hunting.. Just shotgun stuff. I prefer a remington 1100 with a 28-30 inch barrel and a full choke for distance on geese.. not much use vs teal or bufflehead tho unless yer a crack shot or extremely lucky [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] |
I miss duck hunting man. I used to live in PA and that's pretty much what I looked forward to every hunting season. I have a female Bufflehead mounted around where somewhere. I really want to get Goldeneye and American Merganzer some day in the future.
As far as favorite guns I'm more of a pump action shotgun and bolt action rifle type of guy. I'm not big into automatic or semi auto. I picked up a remington .308 about a year ago but I haven't even put a round through it yet.
