Yeah, your argument doesn't hold water, so you resort to ad hominem attacks. Good call. Why did they even move this thread out of RNF?
Quit trying to compare punishment of a team that pleaded guilty and got a lighter sentence with a team that insists on innocence even after they have film of the guy taking the balls in the bathroom after stealing them from the officials locker room and cell phone records where he calls himself the "deflator."
McNally might have been the one who did the actual deflating, but they have proof of him accepting "gifts" from Tom Brady for doing it. Just like White was directly responsible for the noise, Tom Brady is directly responsible for the deflating. His punishment will be appropriately similar.

So you think that White made the call to pipe in the noise? Or maybe it was Jim McCay that actually made the call to do it and White is the one who carried it out? Get what I'm saying? The person who actually, physically broke the rule is the one who would have eaten the suspension but ultimately got fired. Its called a scapegoat. The person who asked him to do it got a meaningless suspension, the team lost a meaningless draft pick and got an almost insignificant fine. That's the precedent that you can draw from that example. Whether or not they admitted it freely when questioned in not sure. The quote from Blank was after the fact. Its easy to be upfront after you've been caught.
