Hey there. I am a long time role-player in EQ. Suffice to say that my biggest role is ta-dah! DE Cleric of Innoruuk! You will find that Hate is a powerful weapon, and to answer your question, there are many reasons why a disciple of hate would heal another, some of which include:
1. When you hate someone, you enjoy watching them suffer. So why not heal them while they are being shredded to death by gnolls so you can prolong their suffering?
2. Part of your mission as one who follows hate is to ensure the ones you hate, are indebted to you, especially your enemies. Nothing is more glorious than the paladin filth of Erollissi begging for your blessing to keep them alive. By having the infidels call upon your intervention with The Dark Father, they are brought one step closer to hate.
3. When you heal someone, that dark, magical energy comes from Innoruuk. When you imbue someone with that healing essence, their soul becomes closer to hate, and eventually one with the Dark Father.
4. Healing is not an act of kindness on your part, it is an act of selfishness on the recipient who wishes to remain alive instead of dying a heroic death. When you heal someone who expects you to heal, you aren't being kind, you are simply entertaining their selfish desires.
5. Disciples of Hate heal others to gain their favor. This is not out of a desire to be loved, but rather a ploy to make people who love, love you; As a result, they are knowingly loving you, but are unknowingly loving the embodiment of Hate, which all priests of Hate represent. Which of course brings those who love, closer to hate!
