[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] The higher you get the better the gear that drops. You can keep some that fits you, sell the stuff that is not your class, and buy more stuff that fits you.
I have no clue what class you are but if you are a Melee class it sucks not being able to hit crap till you get your weapon skills above 50 or more. That means like getting to level 6 or 7. Get to like level 10 and worry about Trade skills and Quest etc. I mean loot the stuff you need for the quest but just keep leveling.
Looting Orc picks gets old quick for 2 copper.
