While I sense some trollish-ness in the OP's post, I can definitely relate to the cost of pet care. My Dachshund just had surgery on his neck to remove a herniated disk. Final cost was nearly 5k, and the MRI / X-Rays / other tests cost just as much, almost more, than the surgery itself. 10/10 would do it again however.
