What bothers me is that this is the second day in a row when i've tried to use a brazier of elemental summoning and the server goes down shortly after. If people can get 100% gm rez coz they died as a result of the server breaking, why can't i be reimbursed this?

I completely agree. It's not your fault and on such rare use items or such things you should. IMO
