You'll need a thick skin and a sense of humor to enjoy red. If you've got those, and the ability to not ragequit when you were killed while killing a mob you'll enjoy it

It's definitely a tough learning curve and you'll encounter people with years of EQ pvp experience but after you scratch the surface with some of the other players you'll find that some of them aren't as good as you first thought and you'll be able to pick up a few kills

The most important thing if you try it though is not to take the mentality of "I won't engage in pvp unless someone attacks me first" which a lot of new players do. The best way to get better is to practice.
If you can get a character to level 10 on red I'll make you up some jewelcrafted items at cost price. HP rings, resist gear, stat gear... whatever you like. Just pay me the cost of the metal bar and the gem
