I completed this quest last night. Ignore the text. Give him the focus, go to CC and give a geonid the focus then give Phenocryst the focus again. You get the item back and then have to go collect the three metals.
Everything is spawning now EXCEPT that the bag spawn for "The Reddish Crystal" is NOT spawning in The Hole.
Nor does it spawn in the entrance of Split Paw. It spawns on the left island deeper in splitpaw before you go down the water tunnel to Ishva. It's on the backside of that island.
Once you collect them turn in the identify crystal you got with the three metals to phenocryst and you get an item that looks like an aquamarine gem. Stash that and have your ranger go tag the three giants that were just spawned. It takes 2 minutes before the Accolyte of Zeks spawn. Tag them right away and bring them to your camp. THEY SUMMON. Be warned.
About a minute after the Zeks were spawned Bloodpriest spawns. Tag him and kite him until you have killed the two Accolyte of Zeks.
Loot all three pieces of the medallion and turn them in with the aquamarine thing you got from Phenocryst and you get the Focus. Gratz on your new secondary. Now go camp
Cara Omica because if you are camping the Focus then you probably don't have your epic.
Also, on floor 2 of that zone you can get a teacher's syllabus and studen'ts homework from the
Angry Librarian. After that you are good to go and fully equipped.
