I've had the impression that you were kind of a troll for a while now, actually.
I think if you absorb too much of the attitude that some posters have, you might genuinely lower your ability to empathize with other people. It's actually really negative on these forums but I think a lot of regular posters have lost sight of normal behavior. Somehow it's looped around to the point where people have convinced themselves that being nasty to others is fun.
Despite all the ragging everyone does on Swish, he's probably the most consistently friendly/upbeat poster here. (Swish, I know you're reading this. Go make yourself useful and write an introductory R99 guide for the newbies explaining how everything works. Use
this page since it's linked on the front page of the wiki anyway.)
