minor illusion should make you indiff in this era but it doesn't. so what gives? level 11/12 FYI so level 8 alliance still has the guards ready to attack you and merchants say piss off.

Apply the faction mod spell to the brownie farmer just inside from the guards, he's incredibly low level...then put your half elf illusion on
