Perhaps one word is missing - "...and the angry burning of death ripped through his intestines, the warrior did NOT perish."
Since if he was dead but clawed his way back to the cottage, then he would have already been undead, no?
Still enjoyed the story - perhaps one day I shall spin a yarn or two about Norrath.
