I made my new smoker, by using the recipe below.
First I need to create an unfired smoker in the pottery wheel.
Ingredients
Icon 1 x Large Block of Clay - Crafted, Bought
Icon 1 x Smoker Sketch - Bought
Icon 1 x Water Flask - Foraged, Crafted, Summoned, Bought, Quested, Dropped
When I put it into the pottery wheel, it created a smoker not an unfired smoker. It was labeled as smoker not unfired smoker So, I tried to then put the kiln just to see if I could fire it.
Ingredients
Icon 2 x High Quality Firing Sheet - Bought
Icon 1 x Unfired Smoker - Crafted
In the kiln it was not recognizing it as an unfired smoker but as a smoker. When I put the "smoker" in the oven to test it to see if somehow there was bug that the pottery wheel had fired the "smoker" , the oven did not recognize it as a smoker.
I hate running to one side of gfay to the other to get more gear, but next time I am going to try it without the autocombine (which I used to hate.

Btw, when I looked in the oven "cookbook" in game my dried berries were not showing up. But I know that I used to make these all the time.
When I tried to create in the pottery wheel, using the Experiment button to get the classic version. It said "You can not combine these items in this container type". I made sure that the items I had were not stacked and the items I needed. I also tried putting them in different slots. I would recieve the same message.
I also got the same message for the kiln when I tried to use the classic version with my "smoker" from my previous creation.
