when i started playing i was stopped dead by the fact that
my computer was trying to use 2 processor cores
after a few hours of research my solution was this


i simply reworded my Launch Titanium.bat
which reads

start eqgame patchme

to

start /affinity 1 eqgame.exe patchme

that will run the game on a single core
with Windows Vista

hope this helps someone someday
