As a further update, apparently it's going to Plane of Hate that causes the defense skill to temporarily become un-capped and display as 252 (with associated AC gain). Twice now I've gone to hate, and twice now, after logging out in any other zone I'm back stuck in red at 230 with reduced AC. Even if this is only a display glitch--which I have my doubts (since AC also changes)--tank players kind of need to know how much AC they have as part of their job. Perhaps whatever is different about Plane of Hate server-side can be used to identify why it's staying capped in all the other zones.

Have you been to PoFear also?
PoHate got updated in the most recent patch when the 2nd floor was opened. I'm curious if PoFear gives the same skill cap increases because it was also updated in the recent patch.
