Of course I'm talking about when everyone is the same level, in which case what I said applies. There's no reason to assume that every time you invite a hybrid they're 5 levels lower than everyone else. And anyway, even if they are lower level enough that they take a fair portion of the EXP, they're taking more than a non-hybrid their level. My original point, that hybrid penalty is not nearly as bad for the hybrid if he's in a large group, still applies.

Which was exactly the point of my first post. Without the details, your statment feeds the belief that hybrids on this server directly penalize them for being in the group, which isn't true at all. It's 100% based on total XP.
As a case in point. I've seen groups pass up hybrids lower level than the group average by a few levels, and accept a pure class 6 levels above them, purly based on the "XP Group Penalty"
