I agree with your general assessment, but on this specific subject the statistics don't lie. There is way more likely to be squandered fortune among those who didn't pursue a good education and/or those who could not pursue a good education because they didn't lie about being Native American. For whatever reason.

Pursuing education doesn't necessarily involve college. I was just using college interchangeably with good socio-economic background/head on their shoulders.
