I concede Melisandre is in place to have a role in resurrection. It might be the only thing she could do to absolve herself given her errors in judgement/fire readings. I would prefer the Old Gods magic play at least some role. Maybe some Wall magic - it was built with blood and magic.
I worry about the completion of the series. But know what else? I'm addicted to the D&E stories right now. Lot of re-re-re-reading. I love Egg's humor and Dunk's honor and steadfastness. The future for more of these not looking so good, either. |
