I can't help that you are stupid enough to pay rent for all of your adult life. I guess that College you go to is working out well for you. You should probably take a class in Economics though. Maybe they will teach you the value of owning your own home compared to renting.
Oh and, you rent birdbrain. Your landlord may add a small fee onto your total rent to help "him" pay taxes. But you don't pay a single tax to your school district, Local Municipality etc. Thanks for being a fucking deadbeat all of your adult life. there are plenty of reasons why renting can be superior to owning. I don't like lite by any means but i'm pretty sure the guy's not even 30, that's a huge reason not to buy a house right there. he's in some form of IT, probably not shitter tech support and considering the IT/IS boom, he can probably find a job in a large number of cities.
