with panic animal you dont need to be overly twinked to be effective if you want to solo. back in the day my main was a 50 pally, i eventually sold my stuff and started a ranger right as velious came out, so about this time frame. I pretty much soloed into my mid to upper 50s just using snare/panic animal and with mediocre gear. lets be honest as a ranger your going to be doing alot of soloing anyway as most people dont want you in their groups. Velious is great for this as theres animals in most of the zones and they are still close to places where people are grouping so long travel to group isnt an issue.
