resets are in place for a reason. The mechanics of everquest dictate that one group of people will eventually strangle the rest of the server out purely based on gear and/or numbers.

You're not investing time to advance a character to keep, you're investing time for a quality pvp experience in an environment where the best gear is acquired through pvp.

Its not a Lifequest-Macequest server. The resets are appropriate to the type of wham bam thank you ma'am style of gameplay you will find on this server.

Its a good time and the reset only serves to save people from themselves when the box is finished. The devs don't just randomly say "OK well that's it folks" and wipe your stuff pal. Its done when the community is done playing. Participate in the community in some fashion, and you will never feel a reset at all.

Now if you want to solo farm and acquire Jeremy/sickrmtpuppy levels of platinum over the course of a few years standing alone and playing by yourself with your head in the dirt, and that is your idea of fun, then yeah this probably isn't the server for you.

Don't let the word temporary deter you from checking this out. It is not P99, it doesn't play like P99. Its actually fun.
