Any kind of interruption of either the network or the flash drive, the program will crash. I was able to play from a flash drive for a couple of days before the crashing started happening to me.
The general fix for any application error crash is just to reinstall to your Program Files(X86) Folder and hope for the best.
A Fresh install btw, not moving anything over from the folder that was having issues. So you would have to rebuild macros and such.
